Privacy Notice

Enquire about a print run or send artwork to JEWEL PRINT LIMITED, and the company receives your name and the contact details you provide; this notice explains how they are used.

Your rights over the information we hold

Under UK data protection law a set of rights travels with the personal information JEWEL PRINT LIMITED keeps about you. You may ask to see a copy of what we hold, have anything inaccurate put right, request that it be erased, and object to or restrict the way we use it. A short email to james@jewelprint.store is enough to begin any of these requests, and we will act on it promptly.

The company responsible for your details

The organisation that decides how your information is used — the data controller — is JEWEL PRINT LIMITED, registered in England & Wales under Company No. 14134200. Our registered office sits at 3 Heol Y Twyn, Talbot Green, Pontyclun, CF72 9FG, United Kingdom, and a letter sent there reaches the same people who answer your enquiries.

Details that reach the workshop

An email enquiry carries only the information you place inside it. In practice that comes down to:

  • your name;
  • the email address you write from;
  • whatever you tell us about the enquiry, commission or piece of work you have in mind.

Each of these arrives straight from you, and we invite you to include only what genuinely relates to your enquiry.

Purposes and lawful basis for using them

What you send is read so that we can write back, talk through commissions, metalwork or restoration, and keep an orderly record of the correspondence between us. We rely on our legitimate interest in reading, answering and managing the enquiries that come in, together with — where a commission is in prospect — the steps taken at your request before any agreement is made. Your message stays confidential: a well-established email service provider carries it to and from us and processes that email data purely to run the messaging service, and your information passes to anyone else only where the law obliges us.

Retention and secure disposal

Enquiry correspondence stays with us for as long as it is reasonably needed to see your request through and to keep the ordinary business records a company is expected to hold. Once that point passes, the material is deleted or securely disposed of.

Questions, contact and the ICO

Should anything in this notice need explaining, or you would simply like to know more about how we treat your information, an email to james@jewelprint.store reaches us, as does a letter to the registered office named above. We would always hope to settle a concern with you directly; you remain free, all the same, to raise the matter with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the supervisory authority for data protection across the United Kingdom.
